"Residue of 3a" is a cast resin piece made from fallen leaves and petals gathered from my apartment in the Lower East Side in NYC. Created as a way to preserve a fleeting moment, the work captures the quiet, everyday beauty of a space I once called home. Each leaf carries a memory—of light through the windows, of seasons passing, of life unfolding in stillness. Suspended in resin, these fragments become both archive and artifact, a personal gesture of remembrance and a meditation on the emotional weight of place.
